Clinical Educator Training: The College of Education, Leadership Studies, and Counseling (CELC)(CLECS24) The College of Education, Leadership Studies, and Counseling (CELC) at the University of Lynchburg welcomes you to Clinical Educator Training through Mentoring Virginia. CELC is excited that you, an educator in a neighboring school division, have decided to collaborate with us to support our teacher candidates in clinical placements within your school and classroom. This course offers five asynchronous modules and resources offered through Mentoring Virginia. Mentoring Virginia is an organization funded by the Virginia Department of Education and provides training and professional development resources for Virginia clinical faculty and mentor teachers. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from Mentoring Virginia. This will allow you to join the pool of Clinical Educators who can host students in clinical placements. Anticipated Duration: Approximately 5-8 hours This course is not open to the public and is available by invitation and registration only. Once you complete the enrollment process, your eligiblity will be verified and we will contact you with next steps.
